15-minute complimentary consultation calls are helpful for discussing your goals for therapy, sharing past therapy experiences, as well as an opportunity to review any questions prospective clients may have.
DBT Individual Skills
1:1 DBT Skills Training to clients who have completed comprehensive DBT treatment, including group and individual therapy. This is helpful for clients who would like a refresher in DBT skills, and this can supplement individual therapy sessions.
Sessions last 60 minutes and will occur weekly.

Individual therapy sessions will incorporate a range of therapeutic modalities, evidence-based practices, interventions. Overall, an individual session is held to focus on your presenting challenges and goals.
Meeting on a weekly basis is the usual format for psychotherapy to ensure that the momentum of treatment is maintained. As time progresses, clients may change to biweekly or monthly sessions.
Sessions range from 45-60 minutes, depending on your insurance plan or as discussed during our consultation call as to what might be the best range of time for our work together.
Clients may find it helpful to invite a family member, significant other, or other support person into session. At the start of the session, we review expectations for how the session will proceed.
